Anna's First Birthday with a video!

Our little girl is one! We are so thankful for the year we have had! We thank God for her precious life!

We had a low-key birthday celebration on Sunday with my parents and a friend who brought her two sweet kiddos. Check out the pics:

 Here is the idea for the table cloth.  Here is the recipe for the cake.  It was banana cake with no sugar - although the icing had some.  Anna wasn't really a fan of the sprinkles - but she did like the cake.  She loved playing with it. 

Here is a video of Anna playing with Sarah after eating cake and opening gifts - it's so funny to me how babies LOVE other kids.  I love it! 

Some Anna trivia:
-Anna is still napping twice a day, sleeping about 11 hours at night, and eating very well!
-She loves pushing around her hippo toy, practicing walking while you hold her hands, taking things out of containers and putting them back in, playing with stuffed animals, and climbing on anyone/thing.
-Just a couple of weeks ago, she mastered climbing down the stairs backwards (instead of trying to go head first). 
-Anna can sign "more" and "please" when eating.
-She is getting close to walking and can stand without support when she wants to.  My dad is determined to get her walking before the week is out.
