10 months!

Anna turned 10 months last week.  She is growing, growing, growing! Everyday Josh and I say to ourselves, "She is really getting to be a big girl".  Here's why:

- crawling faster, pulling up everywhere, climbing on everything!
- picking up food and eating it - so she can basically feed herself now, though it makes a mess!
- babbling a lot more
- sorting things - clothes, toys, food - she is really into taking things out of a container and putting them back in.

She is really a joy to have around.  She is constantly cracking us up.

Recently, after picking up Anna from the church nursery, one of the workers told me that Anna cries only when another baby cries.  When the baby stops crying, so does Anna.  The worker said, "she is really sensitive to others".   I hope that she really does have a sensitive heart for others as she grows!  I was able to observe this over the weekend when I visited a friend of mine in Oklahoma.  Anytime her 15 month old would cry, so would Anna.  Anna would only stop when she stopped.  It was pretty cute (and loud :) )!

Here is a video of Anna sorting through stuff.  Note: she has a very serious demeanor in this video which is not typical...that makes it even funnier to watch in my opinion!
