"What are y'all doing?"
"Mmmm hmmmm"
"Whadda you got, dada (or gramma or momma)?"
"May I have it please?" ( she rarely says this but we are trying to teach manners and its so sweet when she says it!)
It has been a fun fun summer! Anna is loving her pool and playing outside. Almost every Tuesday this summer, we went to a different park in our area with a group of other stay-at-home-moms. This was one of the highlights of summer!
A few firsts for Anna these past 2 months: tried a snow-cone, ate watermelon (wouldn't touch it last summer), attended a splash-pad park, got sprayed down by the water hose (Josh loves spraying her down!), and picked out books at the library. Speaking of the splash pad, I think she had the time of her life. The girl ran and played and laughed so hard. It was so fun to watch!
Anna is still a great eater and sleeper, although her naps have become shorter- around 1.5 hours nowadays. She still has a few teeth missing, but she is close to having a full set!
She loves painting, playing with her Little People Barn, Pretending to cook (she uses all kinds of things around the house to cook), and reading books. Her favorite books are her Jesus story book bible and her Eric Carle books (The Busy Spider, Brown Bear, The Hungry Caterpillar).
She is outgrowing 2T clothes and moving into 3T clothes!
She loves visits from family and friends. This summer we've had grandparents, aunts, great aunts and uncles visit, and a couple of friends! Anna has LOVED it. She usually follows around whoever comes to visit and asks "Where Papa go?" or "Where GiGi go?" anytime they leave her sight. She is a very welcoming little person :).
We are so blessed to watch this sweet girl grow!
