This weekend my parents came to visit and she REALLY enjoyed that. She loves attention (what baby doesn't). She loves it until she gets tired, and then she wants no more. Here are some pics from the weekend. I didn't take many (I was busy enjoying everyone!!!):

She is still a great sleeper and takes 2 or 3 naps a day. We haven't quite gotten rid of the late afternoon/evening nap. Sometimes she will take it, sometimes not. Sometimes she has to go to bed at 7, but we try to keep her up until 8. She still sleeps through the night. I'm trying to set her wake time at 7am, but sometimes she wakes up at 6am.
Her favorite things right now are her bouncer and play kitchen that my Aunt Shelly got for her. Wow does she love to move! The kitchen sings and talks to her when she pushes certain pieces, and Anna gets so excited. She even dances when it sings. This involves her bouncing her upper body up and down. She gets her moves from her momma...
Last night we took her to a community group with our church and she did awesome, despite not having a nap. She wouldn't eat before we took her, so I feared a crazy evening. However, she LOVED all the people and especially the cats that were wandering in the house. Sometimes a lot of people overwhelm her, but she seems to getting warmed up. Everyone commented on how happy she is. She really is happy whenever we go out in public...she loves seeing new things and new people. But she also can throw fits, as I will describe below!
It's so interesting to see how you don't have to teach a baby to "throw a fit". She is naturally a sinner, just like all of us! The other day, she had grabbed a piece of paper and immediately began trying to eat it. I took it away from her and was about feed her. Woah, did she get ticked. She refused to nurse and started screaming. I've never seen her act like that. She refused to eat for 1.5 hours and wouldn't be happy doing anything. The problem was, I was about to go to walmart with a friend, so I really needed her to eat. I ended up feeding her with a bottle, which worked, and then going out. Later on, she nursed well. Apparently she was mad at me and only wanted to eat on her terms!
Anyways, I'm waiting for Anna to crawl any day now. She has made a couple of attempts, but nothing serious. I'm sure it will be within a month or so.
She had to warm up to the girls in our house again, especially the lady from Kenya. I guess the skin color difference throws Anna off. After about a week of being around her again, Anna has warmed up. I'm so glad it didn't take long. I really want Anna to be comfortable with people of all color.
A note about her bedtime routine: we do baths every other day now, because her skin gets irritated if we bathe her too much. We put on her lotion and her jammies and then sing a couple of songs while holding her. It's really fun, and she really loves it. It's about the only time she will cuddle and not wiggle like crazy!! After that, she usually goes right to bed when we lay her down. Sometimes she "talks" for a while, but usually she goes right down. I'm so thankful she is a good sleeper.
So far she has eaten carrots, peas, and broccoli. She still eats rice cereal and oatmeal too. She is a great eater! I'm going to try sweet potatoes and green beans this week. Then some fruits.
I wrote a lot, but that's a little bit about Anna at 7 months! Here is a cute video for ya'll of Anna after we fed her dinner. She starts getting excited and looks like she is riding a bull. We were laughing like crazy! It's 3 min long but you only have to watch about 1 min.
