The Cute Hat

Here's some fun pictures from a visit with our good friend Ashley and her 9  month old Riley.  The hat is Riley's, and I'm thinking of getting one for Anna.  We tried to make them "play" together, and this was the extent of it.  Ashley and I always joke that Anna should be her child and Riley should be mine because Anna has blue eyes, fair skin, and lighter hair (just like Ashley- Riley's mom).  Riley has dark hair, dark eyes and darker skin (just like me in my more tan days...)

Funny note about this day:  Me, Ashley, Riley and Anna all rode together to run some errands, and both Anna and Riley cried 90% of the car ride.  When one stopped, the other started.  All we could do was laugh at the craziness of our car ride.  Both of us were worn out afterwards and so were our babies.  Anna slept well that night!!
